Winter 2018

Treat yourself to a private or semi-private session this season! In addition to group classes, I’m happy to be teaching more individualized classes. Private sessions with me will empower you to better navigate and refine your time on the mat (and/or in the water). Our time together can include vinyasa (asana sequencing), pranayama (breathing practice), chanting (in Sanskrit & English), guided meditation, and relaxation. What does it feel like to move like a manta ray, to float like a starfish, to bend like seaweed, or to hold Warrior 3 in the water? In this original and playful vinyasa yoga practice adapted to the pool environment, we shapeshift and switch our mats for the water – combining the meditative experience of yoga asanas and mindful stretching with a creative aquatic fitness workout. Ashtanga Yoga Mysore Style

Mondays 6AM – 7:30AM

In a calm, meditative atmosphere, students are assisted individually with learning and memorizing a set sequence that they can progress through and practice at their own pace. This style of yoga is called ‘Mysore’ because it originated in the city of India named Mysore. Depending on how long your want your practice to be, you are welcome to arrive any time between 6-8AM (beginners encouraged to come at 7AM). Ashtanga can become an advanced practice, but it starts wherever you are, and progresses gradually. Register here.

EarthFest Overpeck

Sunday 2:30PM – 3:00PM (Yoga under the Tent) at the 5th annual EarthFest Overpeck in Ridgefield Park, NJ: a celebration of clean water and a healthy environment with Hackensack Riverkeeper. RSVP here! From 10am to 5pm, there will also be Live Music, Green Vendors, Family Activities, Environmental Demos, Kayaking, a Recycled Regatta… and you can join me for 30 minutes of Breathing, Movement, and Meditative Bliss in the middle of the fest!
